People are what make neighborhood associations successful

The 16th Street corridor is a home to residents, schools, parks, churches, retail, municipal buildings, and transit links that all underscore the need for targeted infrastructure improvements. The Town of Speedway Redevelopment Commission will utilize this study as they further develop strategies to reallocate existing underutilized road space and prioritize multimodal accessibility, supporting safer movement for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users throughout the 16th Street corridor.  Ultimately, these recommendations will guide the implementation of effective, sustainable upgrades that bolster connectivity, safety, and economic vitality along one of Speedway’s most significant transportation corridors.
